Based in Hamilton, Ontario – I got my start in media as a volunteer community radio DJ at CHRY 105.5 FM in Toronto (R.I.P.), hosting a weekly punk show that I produced myself—booking interviews with everyone from locals to punk legends (ask me about my Mr. Chi Pig story.) It was a labour of love and it taught me the essentials of production: planning, timing, storytelling, and rolling with it when things inevitably go off-script.
While holding out hope for a radio career, I studied film theory and production—earning an Honours BA from York University and an advanced diploma from Centennial College. That academic foundation gave me a deeper understanding of how and why content connects with people—and how to turn creative ideas into productions that work.
I cut my teeth on commercial and reality TV sets (I even cut locks off for Storage Wars Canada), learning the value of preparation, communication, and excellent shoes. From there, I moved into commercial production managing, building a reputation as a pragmatic, calm problem-solver who could steer projects through even the most complex logistics.
In 2021 I was approached to become Head of Production at Someplace Nice and Feels Like Home, where I led production across branded and commercial work—from bidding and scheduling to execution and daily fire-fighting.
Now back freelancing, I’m your go-to Toronto production solution—whether as a line producer, bidding producer, or the person who just gets things done. I work across commercials, branded content, and short-form narrative, bringing creative sensitivity, hands-on experience, and a calm, collaborative energy to every set. Whether it’s a high-concept campaign or a run-and-gun shoot, I deliver on time and on budget—while gracefully dodging the chaos and occasionally tripping over the seaway.
